The aim of the project is to improve the effectiveness of multimedia projects for the use in higher education by cooperating with business corporations. In a first step we initiated workshops and interviews in order to find out the most problematic areas for lecturers when cooperating with business corporations in a multimedia project. In a second step we organized the participation for some projects on the Learntec 2000 in Karlsruhe. On the basis of these experiences we will create a handbook which should be an aid for all lecturers in higher education who plan to initiate mulitmedia projects. The handbook will concentrate on the following areas: qualification prerequisites for lecturers, project calculation, basics of sponsoring and special features concerning copyright.
