Established 1997
The association EUROPEA Austria represents over 70 land-based schools on medium and higher level in all 9 regions of Austria. Most of the VET training institutions are in rural areas, and act as centers for rural development.
EUROPEA Austria has organized already 10 mobility projects for trainers as well as students in the land-based sector during the last years. Moreover, EUROPEA Austria has been a partner in several Thematic Networks or Transfer of Innovation projects, promoted by Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+, and has been involved as a promoter or steering group member. Dissemination seminars are open to all EUROPEA members and provided insights to techniques, methods and experience. Teachers, trainers, principals and students share their experience with participants and help to improve our green education.
EUROPEA Austria was the main promoter of EUROPEA student competitions e.g. in the fields of wine or forestry and strives to strengthen thematic working groups throughout Europe.
